Well this Session I sat everyone down and just had to go over some things about what we were going to do.  

Session VII Total Retcon

We moved and shimmied and changed some things up.  I had to tell them that due to the make up of the group the future of encounters were looking to be rather pedestrian.  All beat up and nothing splashy.  Well with that John shifted out of Druid and into Artificer, while Bryant changed over to Wizard from Ranger.  I set them up to test the new party out and it came up good.

D&D Session VI

Well, after almost a week wallowing in it, I decided I just not in the mood to post an epic failure of a session.   Alright  they showed up to flame keep, they met someone who tried to give them a quest but I did not know that it was not a well liked quest idea, gave them an item that was not liked at all and priced for sell right off the bat.  They just about left the area without taking the quest and I would have had nothing.  They purchased some armor that I had already planned to give them.

I gotz a new computer.  So happy, but a little agitated with Vista being on it.  Oh well, I'll deal.

Session V

Hefting their loot and rubbing their wounds, the group heads towards the town of Hatheril.

I’ll warn you all, this is a more extensive as there was more roleplay in this session and it just happened.  I am trying to put more of the NPC notes here as well for player and my reference.

level junk.

Well I'll start with, I did not pay very much attention yesterday.  Many possible reasons but I'll blame Spongebob Squarepants. 

We recieved new marching orders, before that we encountered that friendly scion of Balder who seemed to be having issues with the SS.  Well we all move on and we decide to take up and escort mission.  We take a diplomat to Russia to sign a non-agression pact with Stalin.  We come to find out that the diplomat, while be friendly, is a complete dunce.  I also find out that unless the speak German, I don't have any way to communicate.  I actively try not to listen to the conversation so that my character does not know (this upset Ben and I'm sorry).  The others made contact with Rasputin (this old fart has been in every Scion game that Ben runs) and he would like to have a look at what ever the Russians are using to remove unwanted individuals.  With a little mystic mumbo jumbo we find out that the Russian and the Germans are using Shades to removed opposition in the dead of night, leaving no trace.  A Mr. Moltav, who is what could be described as Stalins right hand, is found out to not only have half a dozen with him in the Krimlin but also to control thousands through out Russian soil.  Even though it was very far over my characters head, I honestly have no idea what we are to do.  Should we disrupt another government, which we were explicitly told not to do, or should be make nice with another scion of an unknown god.

While I know a little bit more than my character, Nicoli is the the complete dark about what is going on.  The three other band mates have the ability to understand any language that is spoken to them.  Nic, well, he is not the smartest one in the bunch and I really had no intentions of making him any other way until a certain point.  I'm suppose to be the social one, so I am going to have to be able to speak to anyone we come in contact with so it looks like I will be purchasing that now instead of later.

Session III

Sarah is back tonight, she takes care of the kids for the first part until she is able to rejoin the group.

Well the dinner last night was great and had a good time with the misses.  Longhorn might not be my favorite place but Sarah Loved it and that is what matters.

The Kittens has a cone around thier heads.  Funny thing that.

Well today is my 10 wedding anniversiary and it is a bit of a let down.  Due to unexpected expenses out budget for the evening has been reduced.  That was not so bad but my vacation request for the weekend was refused a couple of months ago, so I have to work tomorrow. 

Well, the funny thing about today is that Sarah will be getting two eunics out of it.  We took the kittens to the vet to be fixed today.  They will be home after 5pm. 

Rachel had some major dental work done (at least the bill made it seem like it was major) and has recovered quite nicely.

Not much else, see everyone on the flip.

Well, I jump on the wagon.  I got a Facebook page over the weekend (jason.mclaughin@yahoo.com) now anyone can see what I want to talk about in several places.  Well the largest reason is family is on Facebook, so on I go.

So last night we started a new Scion game.  Ben is running this one, and this is the first time I have played in a Scion game since we ended our last Ben story.  The sad part is that I have tried numerous time to start a game, but for what ever reason it would never come to fruit.  Well now we are in WWII, all scions of the Aesir.  I think it may be fun.

So, I know I have not been posting much... well at all.. so I have decided that I'm gonna start again.  I think I need to.

Well, I see that I have not posted in many a day, well mainly due to some serious sickness on my part.  To start it all, from my previous post, the mrsc has cleared up and is healing nice.  I did however manage to catch a viral sinus and lung infection, the fall out from that is that there is nothing that the doctors can do so I have to ride it out.  Ever had fluid in your ears, try it in your middle ear.. yeah behind your eardrum.  Sometimes things get a reverbe that just smack me around.

On the happy note, Sarah got me Incredible Hulk for my B-day.  Happy me!!

Due to an icky reasons I had to go to the Urgent Care this morning, thankfuly my mother was able to watch the kids.  One minor surgery (have to go back tomorrow to have some packing removed) I get home.  Now before the surgery they injected an novocane like liquid into the area they had to cut into.  Well that was all fine and good, but later in the morning I was talking with my mom and all of the sudden the numbing effects wore off and it was all of, "Holy mother of God, that hurts!!" Well one event to another and I have some antibiotics for the next few weeks and some pain killers for the next few days.   I feel like crap, not any kind of good at all.

I have been thinking about how to handle one of the most abuseable knacks in the game.  I think I may have an idea to give it the spirit of it's intent.

Knack: Epic Dexterity
Untouchable Opponent:

When ever you are trying to dodge attacks you can move with the grace of divine being that you are.  When you are targeted by an attack and spend the Legend to increase you DV by half of you Athletic, instead Increase it by your full athletics (adding any Arete Dice) for that attack and the attack cannot be rerolled agaist you.  You may make an immediate move action at half your movement.

This can mean a huge boon to those who are going to focus on Athletics, and the added bonus that even if the roll still hit, the opposition still cannot reroll the attack  to try for a better attack.  This can also be used to counter an opponent from trying to reroll a miss, showing how you have moved out of the way preventing the attack outright.

Forgot all about my cousin had her baby a few days ago, a healty little girl 19 inch, 7.6 lb (or close).  She lives in VA on the Naval base, as she is in the Navy, but may come back here for a few weeks to heal up and have some  help with the new born.  I really hope so, cause I would love to see it.

Well that is good new, there is bad but that is not for here and has nothing to do with the cute baby.

Don't ask me the name as I can't even remember.  I think it is Lilly Grace.. yeah pretty sure that is it but I don't know her last name.

Well today I'm feeling like crap due to sleeping only about 2 hours last night, so I wake up and take some time to decend into the basment to check on the internets for stuff.  Then my youngest comes down asking something and I am assaulted by what could only be descibed as a Perfume shop on wheels. 

Seems they got ahold of Sarah's perfume samplers and tried them out.  They spilled them on a table and on a coushion and pillow.  Now I get nauseated walking by a perfume store so having my living room smell like a cosmetic counter.  So stick the two of them in a hot shower to rinse the smell-o-rama  off of them, and try not to hurl.  They get clean and we go down stairs after I open the windows to air it out. 

I can't even stay up there without my head feeling like it was going to pop, so when my mother-in-law got there (she had been warned) she helped me sort out and find the worst affected items.  Then I am off to work.

You know what happens when  you get fresh air and  you nausea goes away, one realises that one has not eaten yet today and is STARVING!!  Well no money to hit the fast food so I got some change and hit up for some crackers at work from the machine.

This is going to be a long long day.
